Welcome to the new Friends of Arts Education at The Cerritos Center website.  We’re glad you’re here and we thank you for your interest in supporting the Friends and Arts Education.

Founded in 1993, The FRIENDS of the Arts Education is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and promoting appreciation for the performing arts through education.  Each educational season, the FRIENDS serve in excess of 86,000 students, teachers, and families through a variety of performances and programs, all free of charge.  Our goal is to make the performing arts accessible to young people without regard to socio-economic, geographic, or intellectual barriers, both real and perceived.

The FRIENDS serve students in over 29 school districts and private schools including ABC, Bellflower, Compton, Cypress, Downey, El Rancho, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Inglewood, LAUSD, Lennox, Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Los Nietos, Lynwood, Montebello, Norwalk-La Mirada, Ocean View, Paramount, Redondo Beach, and Walnut Valley.

The FRIENDS of Arts Education programs enrich the quality of life in our communities by revitalizing teachers, stimulating students, and offering the kinds of world-class performances that affect children throughout their lives.
