Mr. Scott L. White, M.B.A., President |

Scott was recently elected to serve
as the President of the Friends Board of Directors, following
two years as the Chief Financial Officer. He has also co-chaired
the Friends Performing Arts scholarship committee and served
on the Golf Committee. Scott recently retired after 33 years
with Boeing and Rockwell International. He has a master’s degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University. Additional Executive level education has been completed at UCLA, Carnegie Mellon and the Boeing Executive Program. Scott is married with two adult sons and resides in Huntington Beach. He was awarded the Silver Knight of Management Award from the National Management Association and is active in industry associations, the Boy Scouts and his alma maters. Scott has also served on the board of the El Segundo Educational Foundation.

| Mr. Gary W. Hopkins, Ph.D., V.P.

Gary has been a member of the Friends Board
since 1996. He has served on the Executive Committee for several of
years and is currently Vice President of Education/Scholarship. Gary
and his wife Roberta established the Friends Scholarship Program from
its inception with Gary as its Chair. He and his wife recently sold
their business Education Evaluators International, Inc., which evaluates
foreign education applications. He has a Doctor of Philosophy in Comparative
Education from the University of Maryland. He and Roberta have three
grown sons. |
Ms. Joy Darling, Chief Financial Officer |

Joy serves as the Friends Chief Financial Officer. She has served on the Board since 1999 and implemented the Albertsons Community Partner program as well as the New York and London theater fundraising tours. She has served as co-chair of the Family Arts Festival and co-chair of the Gala twice. She also served as the Secretary of the Community Family Guidance Center, is an active member of Soroptimist International for 23 years, volunteers for the Salvation Army Training Center, and served on the Cerritos Prayer Breakfast Committee. She was previously on the Board of the Girl Scout Council of Greater Long Beach. She is a Wellesley College graduate and a resident of Cerritos for 30 years. Joy is married and has three adult children. |
| Mrs. Julie Knabe, Secretary |

Julie has served on the Board since
1996 in such capacities as Chair of the Gala for several years,
on the
Scholarship and the Family Arts Festival Committees, and is currently
serving as Secretary. She is also actively involved in the Cerritos
Chamber of Commerce, having served twice as President; in the
Artesia Cerritos Woman’s Club; and New Life Community Church.
She is the owner of J.D. Knabe & Associates, which specialized
in
customer relations through surveys, facilitation and focus groups.
She is married to Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe, and
they have two
grown sons. |
Mrs. Beverle Ray,
Past President

Bev Ray recently completed two years
of service as the President of the Friends Board of Directors.
She has been very active with the Friends, serving on several
committees for the Board. She co-chaired the Gala in 2006, has
been a member of the Gala Committee for the last five years,
and has served on the Family Arts Festival Committee for the
last four. Bev and her husband George have lived and been
active in the Cerritos Community for the past 30 years. They
have two grown daughters and two beautiful granddaughters.

| Mr. Nick Baker |

Nick has recently joined the Friends Board and has been a long-time supporter. He also serves on the athletic board at the University of La Verne and he is President of his homeowners association. Nick worked in the packaging field for thirty-five years, including ownership of a firm for twenty years. He sold his business in 2000 and is happily retired. He has been married for forty years to his lovely wife, Nancy. They have two married daughters and three grandchildren. He is a native Californian and resides in Glendora. |
| Mrs. Mary Buell |

Mary has lived in the Cerritos area
since 1966, and has been a supporter of the Friends of Arts Education
since its inception. Mary attended Wiggins Business School in Los
Angeles and has worked doing accounting, billing, banking and payroll
in a variety of companies since 1950. Mary served as an office
manager and corporate officer for the businesses owned and operated
by her husband Bob. Mary, Bob, and their two sons Bruce and Kevin
developed B & B Stables in 1961. They still own and operate
the stables here in Cerritos, where they raised and trained show
horses for 26 years. Bob and Mary have seven grandchildren and
are expecting their 16th great grandchild in May 2007. Mary was
appointed to the Friends of Arts Education Board of Directors by
Councilman Bruce Barrows. |
| Mr. Donald R. Eakin |

Don was elected to the Board of Directors
in August of 2005 after having served on the develpoment committee
for the prior year. He is a graduate of the University of California,
Los Angeles with a degree in engineering. He had a long career with
the Northrop Grumman Corporation and has also done consulting for
major corporations and the United States Army. While his children
were growing up, Don was very active with the Boy Scouts of America.
Don and his wife are 30 year residents of Cerritos, have three adult
children and three grandchildren.

Mr. Michael Harkins |

Michael is the South California District Controller for UPS, which is a major supporter of the Friends and the largest employer in Cerritos. He was appointed to the Friends Board of Directors in 2007. Michael earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO and an MBA from Baker University in Overland Park, KS. He has been employed by UPS since 1986. Michael and his wife Sonya reside in Orange County with their four children.

| Mr. Edward Ho |

Edward is a litigation partner in the Cerritos
office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. Ed is active
in the local community and joins the Friends Board after serving two
terms on the City of Cerritos Economic Development Commission. Ed
is a graduate of Whitney High School, the University of California
at Berkeley, Southern Methodist University School of Law, and the
Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins
University. He is married to Esther, a graduate of Cerritos High School,
and they have two young boys, Jacob and Alex. Ed was appointed to
the Friends of Arts Education Board of Directors by City of Cerritos
Mayor Laura Lee in 2007. |
| Mr. Gilbert Honeycutt, JD |

Gil is a Senior Management and Labor Relations
Consultant, Mediator and Arbitrator, specializing in employment issues.
He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees
from San Jose State University and his Jurist Doctor degree from Western
State University College of Law. He is a member of the mediation panel
for the Superior Courts of the County of Orange. He is active in civic
organizations including Garden Grove and Buena Park Chambers of Commerce;
Cypress College Foundation Board; Japan American Society of Southern
California Board of Directors and Lions Clubs International. Gil is
married and has three grown children. |
| Mrs. Marianne Hughlett |

Marianne retired from Norwalk-LaMirada
USD in 2004 after 31 years of teaching science and special education.
She is a founding member of the Teacher's Advisory Committee to the
Friends. Her most recent community service ranges from founding member
of the Parks and Recreation Commission for the City of Cerritos (1986
- 1997) to board membership with both the Community Family Guidance
Center (past president) and Pathways Volunteer Hospice. She and her
husband Bob have been Arts Ambassadors for the theatre for many years.
Marianne was appointed to the Friends of Arts Education Board by Councilman
Jim Edwards.

| Mr. Bryan A. Stirrat |

Bryan and his wife Jeanne have been members
of the Friends since 1995. Bryan served three terms as Board President.
He also served as the Chief Financial Officer and has worked on the
Family Arts Festival and Development Committees. He also serves as
the Chairman of our annual wine tasting dinner, Chairman of the food
committee for the Family Arts Festival, and Chairman of the Friends
Annual Golf Tournament. Bryan is President and CEO of Bryan A. Stirrat & Associates,
a consulting engineering company. His company was established in 1984
and is headquartered in Diamond Bar with five satellite locations
in California and Arizona. Bryan and Jeanne live in Diamond Bar and
have one daughter, Leslie who attended the LA County High School for
the Performing Arts and received her Bachelors Degree in Music and
Theatre from the University of San Diego.

| Ms. LaVerne Tancill |

LaVerne has been actively involved with
the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts since its opening. She
received the “Friend of the Year” award in 1996 for
her contribution to the Center and the Friends. LaVerne joined the
Friends of Arts Education Board of Directors in 2002, has served
on the Fine Arts and Historical Commission for the City of Cerritos,
and volunteered for a number of years at Su Casa Family Crisis and
Support Center. LaVerne is active in the National Museum of Natural
History at the patron level; the Smithsonian National Museum of
the American-Indian at the charter level; belongs to an outreach
program of the Episcopal Church known as Feed My Lambs, which she
underwrote for years; and has active membership in Broadway Cares,
Equity Fight Aids. This is LaVerne’s third year as chair of
the Friends Creative Expressions Program. LaVerne has one adult
son, Jamie Morris, who graduated from Whitney High School and Chapman
University with a degree in Theatre Arts. |
