 On Tuesday, September 18, 2007 the FRIENDS will hold the annual Announcement Day to unveil the line-up of educational programs for the 2007-2008 school year. The event will take place at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts at 4:00 PM.
Teachers, administrators, and parents are invited to attend Announcement Day where they can meet the FRIENDS staff and learn about the Educational Performances for grades K - 12, Professional Development Workshops for Teachers, Artists in the Classroom, and other programs available at no charge to students, teachers, and families.
Registration materials and information packets will be distributed on site. Due to the high demand for attendance at our daytime Educational Performances, a lottery system is used to allocate the performances to schools. Teachers who plan to bring their students to an Educational Performance are required to attend the corresponding Professional Development Workshop.
