Friends of the Cerritos Center for the Peforming Arts

The Teacher Advisory Committee is made up of master teachers who are committed to the belief that the performing arts are a necessary and integral part of a well-rounded education. These teachers meet once a month with the Friends Manager of Education to discuss implementation of Friends programs and how best to ensure that our programming works within the California Visual and Performing Arts Framework. Because these teachers work with students in a classroom setting everyday, they are best able to assist us in making the daytime education programs effective for young people and in making the Professional Development Workshops productive for the teacher. Finally, they provide feedback on the effectiveness of the programs.
