A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Presented Anaheim Ballet

The Performance
Anaheim Ballet’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream provides a universal language through which students can better understand the world of Shakespeare. A well thought-out synopsis of the story presented through dance and complemented by comments from Anaheim Ballet’s Artistic Director, Larry Rosenberg, offers wonderful insights into the work of Shakespeare as well as the art of ballet. For students who are new to Shakespeare’s work, this performance is an excellent introduction. For students who are in the process of studying Shakespeare, this performance will, without a doubt, deepen their understanding of the subject. For many seasons, Anaheim Ballet has delighted and enlightened our student audiences with works such as iDance: A Multimedia Dance Experience and The Nutcracker.
