| On Sunday, June 5, 2005, you can see more than 40 professional,
communities, and student groups perform on five different
stages in and around the Cerritos Center for the Performing
Arts. With incredibly diverse talent in dance, music
and theatre, these spectacular performances will bring
family and friends together to share in the cultural
traditions that abound in our community. |

The Interactive Area will engage children in hands-on
arts activities and provide them with the chance to express
their creativity.
Young artists will have the opportunity to create Hawaiian Lei bracelets, Native
American Headdresses, origami, picture frames and so much more. Have your children
become creative artists as they construct their own masterpieces! |

| Children will experience the wonderful sensation of
creating music at the Musical Zoo where they will have
the opportunity to encounter a variety of musical instruments:
strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion. Children get
first-hand experience touching and playing new instruments,
creating their own music. Bring your youngsters to learn
the art of music as they reproduce airplane and elephant
sounds through a trombone, or imitate rain sounds on
percussion instruments. We hope you will join us and
help us produce the beautiful new sounds of the season! |
