| The Performing Arts Scholarship program has given more
than $75,000 in performing arts scholarships to young musicians,
classical opera singers, actors and more. These are talented
high school seniors who are pursuing a career in the performing
arts.
In seven short years these scholarships have helped
58 students attend colleges such as USC Thornton School
of Music, Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and Juilliard
as they follow their dreams of bring joy to many by sharing
their gifts from Broadway to Hollywood to Lincoln Center.
Scholarships are provided through the generosity of
our donors. These individuals and businesses have assisted
high school seniors in making their dreams come true.
If you would like to make a donation or provide a scholarship, please fill out the donor form and send it to the office or call the Friends at 562-467-8844.
We appreciate donations of any amount; however a gift
of $150 or more will entitle you to exclusive benefits
of Friends annual membership. If you are already a member,
your tax-deductible gift will increase your year-to-date
total and make you eligible for an even higher level
of membership.
